This stunning Scolecite Spray inside Quartz Geode is an ethereal volcanic cavity specimen belonging to the zeolite group, traditionally unearthed from the famous basalt fields of Maharashtra, India. This specific piece features an exquisite, radiating array of needle-like scolecite crystals that fan out like a frosty burst from the base of the geode pocket. Cradled by a glistening, sugar-like micro-crystalline quartz druzy lining and encased in a dark, self-standing basalt matrix shell, this specimen offers an incredible contrast of sharp crystalline textures and deep organic layers.
