The needles are fine, hair-like, and translucent white, with lengths ranging from 0.5 to 1 inch (1.27 to 2.54 cm), creating a delicate, fibrous texture. The mesolite spray sits atop a matrix of massive, milky white to pale gray zeolite material, a mix of stilbite or heulandite, with a rough, irregular surface. Small, dark inclusions, possibly iron or manganese, are scattered across the matrix, adding contrast to the white needles. The base of the specimen has a flat cut for display purposes, while the rest remains unpolished, preserving its natural formation.
