This Rainbow Moonstone flatstone reveals its character slowly. At rest, it appears calm—clouded white, softly translucent, almost lunar in tone. When tilted, a sudden electric-blue flash emerges from within, floating beneath the surface rather than sitting on it. The effect is optical, not pigmentary—light bending through layered feldspar planes formed over geological time. Cut into a compact, organic form, this piece sits between a mini palmstone and a cabochon. The curvature on both faces allows it to be held, carried, or contemplated as an object in its own right, while remaining fully suitable for wire wrapping or custom lapidary settings where a flat back is not required.
