This natural sunstone with an iolite base, sourced from Karur, India, weighs 155 grams and is polished into a compact palm stone form. Certain sections features a dense russet brown typical of sunstone, but what makes this piece rare are its metallic and rainbow inclusions — fine platelets that create strong aventurescence, flashing gold, green, pink, and violet under light. Such vivid multi-colored sparkle is uncommon in polished stones and typically reserved for high-end rough specimens. The sunstone transitions sharply into a navy blue iolite base which is streaked with subtle white and grey veining, adding a wonderful contrast.
